How It Works?

To begin the program an the initial assessment must be completed by a registered Synchrosound Provider. The assessment consists of obtaining background information and if possible a Listening Prole should becompleted to determine awareness levels and ear preference for listening to speech sounds. Additional standardized tests may also be recommended upon completion of the assessment a music program will be recommended by the Synchrosound Provider or Director.

The music will be completed and downloaded onto a listening applicaiton that can be utilized on the phone or tablet. The music is listened to through over the ear stereo headphones for a 10-15 minute period each day. A Listening Prole will be completed by the Synchrsound Provider every 6-8 weeks to re-format the music based off on any new changes. Typically listening will be completed within a 3 to 6 month period.
